Pippen put in injured file - 2004-02-12
The Chicago Bulls put lon-time forward Scottie Pippen on the injured list Thursday with a wounded left knee.
Pippen has been absent for the past three games and will be shelved for the second time this season. Pippen received arthroscopic knee surgery on December 12 and was out of action for a month. He played in 11 games after coming back, but continued to have knee problems.
In addition to being a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls, Pippen is also a seven-time All-Star.

Proctor Senior High School basketball star Josh Wright, who Wednesday night brought the state-ranked Raiders to their 13th consecutive win -- a 97-45 road victory over Fulton -- is one of 22 high school players from within the country who have been chosen to play in next month's 40th edition of the EA Sports Roundball Classic in Chicago.
One-time NBA star Isaiah Thomas, the general manager of the New York Knicks, will be the speaker at the Roundball Classic dinner March 22 in the Chicago Hyatt Regency Hotel.
