Nori joins Zips' staff as tight ends coach - 2004-02-13
University of Akron head football coach J.D. Brookhart already has filled one of the two positions of assistant coaches he lost to the NFL last week.

On Thursday, Brookhart announced Mark Nori, formerly the offensive line coach at the University of Maine, will join the Zips' staff as the tight ends coach.

He replaces Harold Goodwin, who was named assistant offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears under new head coach Lovie Smith.

Snoop Dogg to star in US football movie - 2004-02-13
Snoop Dogg might star as an American football player in a remake of the 1974 movie The Longest Yard.

The rapper is in negotiations for a big role in the movie which will star Adam Sandler as a retired quarterback who captains a team of prisoners in a game against prison guards.

The full cast will include other rap stars along with current and former NFL players, according to a statement from Paramount Pictures.
